Ministries

At Trinity, we have various ministries for all ages.

Children's Ministry

“ …Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” (Mark 10:14)

Our Children’s Ministry exists to support and empower families to lay a foundation that in God’s timing, will bring a child to know and love Jesus Christ, in a safe and loving environment.

Nursery: During most scheduled activities for birth through three years of age. Babies and toddlers learn about God and His Word through age appropriate activities. If you plan on attending any service other than Sunday morning, please call the office at 699-0529 to let us know we will need to provide care for your children.

Sunday School: Sunday mornings at 9:45. A time for children to learn the stories of the Bible. Classes are grouped into Preschool-K, Grades 1/2, Grades 3/4 & Grade 5.

Children’s Church: Sunday mornings (Sept-May) after the children’s sermon for children ages 4 through 2nd grade. It is a place where children can experience worship through activities.

*All children’s programs are

divided into age appropriate classes.

Youth Ministry

Our student ministry exists to:

  • Empower students with the Gospel
  • Equip students as followers of Jesus
  • Exalt God through lifestyles of worship
  • Enjoy relationships in a community of faith
  • Experience service to God and others

We invite you to be a part of what God is doing in and through the lives of students in our church and in our community. We participate in many special activities throughout the year that enable us to accomplish our purposes above. Please take a look at our weekly schedule below and feel free to join us as we seek to accomplish God’s mission in our community. Community Involvement

A Lasara Christmas

Each year at Christmas, Trinity provides each child in the small Colonia of Lasara, TX with a book. This is part of our commitment to Buckner’s “Kid’s Heart” project and our ongoing fight for literacy.

Blessing Bags

Trinity collects essential items such as toiletries, blankets, coats and more and distributes to the homeless community.

Adult Ministry

Sunday School

Bible Study is very important at Trinity so we invite you to be part of our Bible study/Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We believe that the Bible is God’s Holy Word to show us who He is and to know His plan for our lives. To know God and those plans, we spend time studying, meditating, and memorizing the Word as individuals and in small group settings. With classes for all ages, from nursery to adult, an individual or a family can help establish relationships of caring, sharing and support. Studying the Bible systematically helps reinforce one’s personal study and clarifies the truths discovered. Adults are welcome to attend any of our adult classes.

Adult Choir

TBC’s Adult Choir is a group of volunteers who practice every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. They sing anthems for the service almost every week. (Child care is provided).

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir meets at 5:30 p.m. most Wednesday nights. Handbells are used in worship and at special events to enrich the worship experience of Trinity and the community.

Men's Group

Men of Trinity meet once a month on the first Saturday at 8:30am.

Deacon Ministry

Our deacons work closely with the staff and the Pastor to address the needs of the congregation. Each member is assigned to a deacon through the Deacon Family Ministry.

All deacons meet every 3rd Sunday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

They also assign “Deacons of the Week” every Sunday for these to be the primary contacts for the coming week. These deacons of the week are also tasked to pray before the sermon.

If you are a member and you don’t know who your deacon is, please call the church office at 699-0529.
